DirectAdmin Basics
<h3>Viewing Server and Account Information</h3>
<p>DirectAdmin provides detailed information about your server environment and account resources. This information is useful for troubleshooting, verifying PHP settings, and monitoring your resource consumption.</p>
<h3>Accessing System Information</h3>
<ol>
<li>Log in to DirectAdmin.</li>
<li>Navigate to <strong>Account Manager</strong> or <strong>System Info & Files</strong>.</li>
<li>Click on <strong>System Information</strong> or <strong>Server Information</strong>.</li>
</ol>
<h3>Server Details</h3>
<p>The system information page displays the following details:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Operating System</strong> - The Linux distribution and kernel version running on the server.</li>
<li><strong>Web Server</strong> - Apache, Nginx, or OpenLiteSpeed version.</li>
<li><strong>PHP Version</strong> - The active PHP version(s) available for your account.</li>
<li><strong>MySQL/MariaDB Version</strong> - The database server version.</li>
<li><strong>Server Uptime</strong> - How long the server has been running since its last restart.</li>
<li><strong>Server Load</strong> - Current CPU load averages.</li>
</ul>
<h3>PHP Information</h3>
<p>To view detailed PHP configuration:</p>
<ol>
<li>Look for a <strong>PHP Info</strong> or <strong>phpinfo()</strong> link in the system information area.</li>
<li>This displays the full PHP configuration including loaded modules, memory limits, upload limits, and enabled extensions.</li>
<li>Use this page to verify that specific PHP extensions your application needs are enabled.</li>
</ol>
<div class="alert alert-info">If you need a PHP extension that is not currently enabled, contact our support team and we can enable it for your account or server.</div>
<h3>Resource Usage Summary</h3>
<p>Your account summary shows real-time usage of:</p>
<ul>
<li>Disk space used versus your quota.</li>
<li>Monthly bandwidth consumption.</li>
<li>Number of email accounts, databases, FTP accounts, and domains in use.</li>
<li>Number of subdomains and domain pointers configured.</li>
</ul>
<div class="alert alert-warning">If any resource reaches its limit, new resources of that type cannot be created until you upgrade your plan or free up existing resources.</div>
